Plymouth Barracuda

The Plymouth Barracuda was one of the premier car models that were manufactured by the well known firm Chrysler Corporation under the Plymouth brand range of cars. It was first launched into the market in the year 1964 and over the subsequent years, three modifications and improvements was made to it.

The Plymouth Barracuda was a type of Pony car which was a type of A-body coupe which had a back glass. The first generation was in production between the years 1964 and 1966. The second generation was in place between 1967 and 1969 and was a type of Valiant based model in convertible types.

The Plymouth Barracuda was available in 3 types of engines like 170 cu in (2.8 L) Slant-6 I6, 225 cu in (3.7 L) Slant-6 I6 and 273 cu in (4.5 L) LA V8. The length of the wheelbase was around 106 inches while the overall length was around 188.2 inches. The car had a height of 70.1 inches.
