Volkswagen Golf
This historically important car has been around for a long time. The big daddy of all cars is available in many different formats like the 3-door hatchback style, 5-door hatchback, station wagon (estate/Variant) and convertible (Cabrio). The car was pioneer in single handedly promoting and making the 3-hatchback style famous. Starting from 1974 the car has proved itself to be an important asset to the company and has managed to gather enough sales to see that the company sails through hard times as well.
Volkswagen Golf is currently in its fifth generation. The newer version of the car has a petrol engine that is available in 4cylinder with a PD diesel unit injector turbo direct injection engine. The interiors of the car have no rivals and are extremely chic and sophisticated enjoying a royalty status. The car though seems to be on a decline due to the high pricing and the lower quality as Audi cars are seen to have taken the preference.
